There's a setting in newer versions of CGP which may be causing this issue. Its set on a per user or domain (I think) basis.
Make sure "Non-Mail Mailboxes visible via IMAP" is set to Yes.

as described I can't see the "Kontake.mbox" in TB.
My workaround is to link this folder to Contacts.mbox.
The linked folder can be subsrcibed and works with SynCGP as expected.
No idea, why the origin folder doesn't show up.
