For incoming SIP, you can receive calls in several different ways.

1) Configure the SIP provider to send calls for specific numbers and then allow CGP to use its standard routing records to route the calls to the fictitious telnum domain where it will then look up the number in its internal hash table and route it to the account.

That is achieved with entries like these:

S:<(10d)@*> = +1*@telnum S:<1(10d)@*> = +1*@telnum S:<(7d)@*> = *@local S:telnum = pstn ; lookup in list of internal numbers S:<+1*@pstn> = gatewaycaller{*}#pbx_gw_caller S:<+*@pstn> = gatewaycaller{011*}#pbx_gw_caller S:<*@local> = localAreaCall{*}#pbx_gw_caller

2) Configure CGP to register with the SIP server. This is done through the Settings -> Realtime -> SIP -> Gateways and thoroughly documented.

An example would be:

Gateways

GatewayName:Calls:Authenticate:
Domain: Via: Proxy:
Username:Substitute:From To
AUTH Name:Contact:
Password:Register Every:

See the documentation here:

For outbound, you use the gatewaycaller B2BUA.  That is in the router entries above - for example S:<+1*@pstn> = gatewaycaller{*}#pbx

This looks up the gateway information in the User Account or takes the defaults for the Domain or entire installation.

For example see Users -> Domains -> yourdomain -> youraccount -> Real-Time -> PSTN:

Gateway Domain:
sip03.unlimitel.ca
Gateway Address:
209.217.98.218
Caller ID:
6134829050
Name for Gateway:
Password for Gateway:
********

So you can specify the gateway settings on a per domain basis or per account.

Hi,

I have a few domains hosted on my CommuniGate. Some of my users have their own SIP accounts at providers around the world.

Can anyone suggest/recommend how I can configure each client to use a specific SIP account, for all their incoming & outgoing calls?
