This is further to my previous post serve crashyness, anyway I'm wondering if anyone has ever moved from a linux or BSD to a windows platform (FreeBSD to Win 2003) . What I want to do is just get CGP backup and running without any issues whilst I look at the problems we've got with FreeBSD and I've got a spare working Win2003 server.
I'm led to believe that it's just a case of dropping the files over from the server you are moving from, anyone know if this really is the case? I've got a rsyn (well delta copy) of the whole /var folder on a windows machine, which I think should solve the file name bits. But any help here would be great..
