It looks like the archive for Intel has some data in wrong path:

CGPMcAfee/engine/engine/ instead of CGPMcAfee/engine/
CGPMcAfee/avvdat/avvdat/ instead of CGPMcAfee/avvdat/

It was an error in the packer of 3.8, it should be fixed in 3.9

In addition there have been changes to the ld paths in libsunfv.so:

3.7:

$ ldd libsunfv.so
        libCrun.so.1 =>  /usr/lib/libCrun.so.1
        libc.so.1 =>     /usr/lib/libc.so.1
        libdl.so.1 =>    /usr/lib/libdl.so.1
        /usr/platform/SUNW,Sun-Fire-880/lib/libc_psr.so.1

3.8/3.9:

$ ldd libsunfv.so
        libCrun.so.1 =>  /lib/libCrun.so.1
        libc.so.1 =>     /lib/libc.so.1
        libdl.so.1 =>    /lib/libdl.so.1
        /usr/platform/SUNW,Sun-Fire-880/lib/libc_psr.so.1

The path change probably doesn't get noticed in a standard
installation. At my site CGP runs chrooted, so there was
some surprise on initial startup.

Please avoid hidden changes like this.

Sorry, the libsubfv.so is from McAfee and we didn't know about such changes.
