Could the receiving sites be blocking based on SPF checks?

Hello Wayde and Bret

Many thanks for your responses. I guess the "problem" is related to SPF checks, as all major Providers in Switzerland have strengthened their "policy" to strict SPF checks. So it does not really matter from which server the sender email is originating as most persons do send and receive their emails over one of these major providers. In the following log snippet form our CommuniGate Pro Server the user account "myaccount@mydomain.net" is on our CommuniGate Pro Server and has the "Mail Redirection" rule enabled and the option "Preserve To/Cc fields" activated. As described before the redirection of the incoming mail fails, if the originating mail is not part of the receiving domain of our user on our CommuniGate Server. The following assumptions are valid for the log snippet:

sender@sender.net = sender of the original mail (not in the domain)
myaccount@mydomain.net  = the user/account on our CommuniGate pro
targetaccount1@targetdomain1.net = dest. address 1 in Redirection rule
targetaccount2@targetdomain2.net = dest. address 2 in Redirection rule

09:50:19.438 2 LOCALRULES(myaccount@mydomain.net) [7809560] rule '#Redirect'(Mirror) -> [7809546]
09:50:19.438 2 ROUTER SMTP: '<targetaccount1@targetdomain1.net>' accepted: 'targetaccount1@targetdomain1.net' at 'targetdomain1.net'
09:50:19.438 2 ROUTER SMTP: '<targetaccount2@targetdomain2.net>' accepted: 'targetaccount2@targetdomain2.net' at 'targetdomain2.net'
09:50:19.438 2 QUEUE([7809546]) from <sender@sender.net>, 1906 bytes (<A4E970642038D440809A4E1F9D90DC94A80E64@smtp.sender.net>)
09:50:19.438 2 QUEUE([7809546]) enqueued
09:50:19.453 1 SMTP-008937(targetdomain1.net) [7809546] relaying to 'targetaccount1@targetdomain1.net' prohibited
09:50:19.453 1 DEQUEUER [7809546] SMTP(targetdomain1.net)targetaccount1@targetdomain1.net failed: we refuse to relay
09:50:19.535 1 SMTP-008936(ow.ch) [7809546] relaying to 'targetaccount2@targetdomain2.net' prohibited
09:50:19.535 1 DEQUEUER [7809546] SMTP(targetdomain2.net)targetaccount2@targetdomain2.net failed: we refuse to relay

As the log shows, the redirected email is accepted in the first steps by the target/destination servers and is rejected in a second step with the message "we refuse to relay".

If the Option "Preserve To/Cc fields" is deactivated in the users accounts then the destination servers accept the redirect emails :
