To Communigate, "email address" would seem to mean: mjstraw@iup.edu
To my mind, it should mean an rfc822 address like:
"Mark J Strawcutter" <mjstraw@iup.edu>
This is more than an e-mail address - by the real/display name component.
However, the latter causes all sorts of "interesting anomalies" when
accessed with simplex-based webmail skins, CardDAV, SyncCGP/Thunderbird
address books or ActiveSync (don't know about MAPI and others)
Feels like a throwback to the 90's
